Metzger Chili

There is nothing like a hot chili on a cold football saturday. Any mean you can make the week before and put in a disposable container in your cooler is a life saver at a tailgate. This chili, even in it's simplicity is sure to warm your taste buds.


1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion - chopped fine
garlic salt
4 cans tomato soup
2-3 cans of water
1 can Kidney Beans
McCormick chili mix, mild


Season meat with salt, pepper & garlic salt. Cook meat. Drain it. Add together, tomato soup, water, onion salt, garlic salt, chili powder, hot sauce, red pepper, Mc Cormick chili packet and meat. Simmer for 1-2 hrs. Add kidney beans if desired.
