"Good Old Penn State"

Many of you have watched our team, much longer than have I,
But to see the game this past week, almost made me cry!

Not because we lost the game, or left our sprit at the gate,
No this time was different for me, and so I give you “Good Old Penn State!”

The weekend started out perfect with a “Ghoulishly Good Time,”
Then came the perfect weather and everything seemed to rhyme!

The food prepared was all devoured and proportioned out just right,
Even the flank steak and kielbasa prepared in the most limited of light!

And yet by the end our season, had taken another turn for the worse,
It’s almost like some evil witch, had placed on us a curse!

But in my view there are many things, that give me lots of hope,
It seems to me that Penn State spirit, is no longer hanging by a rope!

Our team looked the very best, by far and away this season,
And it seems that JoePa finally stood up, and gave our team a reason!

He inspired them and gave them hope, to push towards “The Future They Await”
And for me it just reinforces why I love my Alma Mater “Good Old Penn State!”
